How do I apply to study in Australia and
when do I start my course?
After attending the counselling session at IDP
and short listing institutions of your choice, you must submit an
application for each institution with a completed set of certified
academic transcripts. Certification is free for students using IDP
services. The Australian academic year begins in either February or
July. However, some courses are available throughout the year.
Students are encouraged to apply at least 3 to 4 months in advance,
so as to provide sufficient time to process student visa and
facilitate better planning.
Do I need IELTS or TOEFL score to apply to
study in Australia?
Basically, yes. Students need to attach an
English language test transcript (IELTS or TOEFL) when applying to
study in Australia. However, without an English language test
transcript, you can still send your applications to the institution
with other application documents and the institution will issue you
a Conditional Offer, if you meet their requirements. You need to
submit your English language test transcript once you get it. The
institution will then convert the conditional offer into a formal
one. However Australian High Commission only accepts IELTS scores
for visa processing
