Counseling you for Successful Admissions
and Enrollment!
Are you wondering about what program in the
U.S. suits your career path?
Would you like assistance with preparing your
applications?
Is the thought of the U.S. visa interview making your
apprehensive?
With over 40 years of international education
leadership, IDP Education is the gold standard in international
student recruiting.
Your counselor at IDP is trained to listen to you and understand
your study and career aspirations. As you explore the myriad study
options available across universities in the U.S., your counsellor
will guide and advise you.
When you walk into our office, you will receive an overview of the
education system in the U.S. Your counselor will then conduct a
thorough assessment of your academic qualifications, work
experience, extra-curricular, social and sporting activities. It is
important for you at this stage to talk to your counsellor about
budget constraints, city preference, study interests and career
goals. This will allow your counselor to effectively match your
profile with a university that best meets your abilities, desires
and needs.
Once you make a decision on your study area and shortlist United
States universities that you would like to apply to, your IDP
counselor will lead you through the application process in keeping
with application deadlines and admission requirements. You will
receive tips on how to write an appropriate statement of purpose
and essay, prepare a portfolio and draft letters of
recommendation.
Your counselor will monitor the progress of your application
through our relationship with the United States universities we
represent. Once you receive an offer of acceptance from a
university you wish to enroll in, your counselor will help you
compile your financial and other documents required by
universities, before the I-20 is issued.
The I-20 confirms your enrollment at the university and is the
final document you require from the university to proceed for your
U.S. student visa (F1 Visa) interview at the U.S. Embassy. Your
counselor will explain the visa regulations, assist you with
compiling your visa file and, most importantly, give you first-hand
information on what to expect for your interview with the U.S.
Embassy officers.
To help you transition to life as a student in the U.S., your
counselor will have you participate in our pre-departure event
which will orient you to academic, social and cultural lifestyle
experiences in the U.S. and also provide valuable information on
important issues such as foreign exchange, accommodation,
insurance, medical requirements and online registration of
courses.
Our highly experienced counsellors will help you in turning your
dreams into reality of getting admission in the best United States
universities.
Our individual and personalized counseling ensures that you receive
guidance through the entire process.
